Tex is a vibrant and unique tile collection designed by Yael Mer and Shay Alkalay of Raw Edges studio. Inspired by the look and feel of woven textiles, this collection features tiles with a distinctive rhombus shape and a hand-crafted surface texture that mimics the intricacies of fabric. The design enlarges a basic knitted stitch into a tile, capturing the essence of repeating patterns found in textiles, with rows of stitches appearing in a symmetric arrangement.
The tiles in the Tex collection are made from glazed porcelain and come in a range of rich, multi-colored finishes. The natural, colorful glaze applied to the tiles creates a beautiful, irregular effect, with variations in color saturation that add depth and character to each piece. This collection brings a touch of artisanal craftsmanship to any space, making it ideal for adding a playful and textured element to both residential and commercial interiors.

The glazed porcelain stoneware tiles in Raw Edges' Mutina Tex range have a remarkable textile-texture that resembles larger knitted stitches. Tex adds artisanal richness and visual warmth to both home and commercial environments, and it can be used on both indoor and outdoor floors and walls. Available as runner sheets (35×40.4 cm) for mosaic-style designs and 11.5×20 cm rhombus tiles (10 mm thick). I came across to LineaSelect by mistake and one day I sent them an email to see if they can help me with Devon&Devon bathroom items.
The staff was friendly and our communication easy, with both Aiste and Jaunius, very professional.

I had a disappointing experience with Lineaselect at first. After confirming and paying for a binding offer that included a fixed delivery timeframe, I was informed six days later that the manufacturer was currently unable to deliver the product. I was offered to either cancel the order or wait for a new, undefined lead time.
While communication remained polite, the handling of the situation initially felt unprofessional. Accepting payment and confirming delivery, only to withdraw the offer days later, raised concerns about reliability.
Update:
After this rocky start, Lineaselect made every effort to arrange delivery as quickly as possible. In the end, I have to say it turned out to be a positive overall experience. The team was responsive and tried hard to find a good solution.
