The padding is in moulded polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. The 4-spoke swivel base is made from aluminium and is available in the blasted-burnished and polished finishes. For the Mamy Blue armchair, the backrest structure is in moulded polyurethane foam. The spring system of the seat, in seasoned beechwood, consists of hand-tied steel biconical springs attached to jute belts. It can be upholstered entirely in Pelle Frau® leather or in many other combinations of saddle-leather, leather and fabric. The combination of various materials is enhanced by elegant visible contrast stitching. The soft optional head rest, padded with polyurethane foam and goose down, does not need to be fastened in place but simply placed on the backrest where it can be positioned as desired thanks to the counterbalance inserted internally. Mamy Blue has a 4-foot solid ash base with a wenge or moka stain, also in the swivel armchair version. For the Mamy Blue pouf, the structure is made from seasoned beechwood and birch plywood and upholstered either entirely in Pelle Frau® leather or in Pelle Frau® leather combined with fabric, as with the armchair.

Archibald, designed by Jean-Marie Massaud, is a wide and deep armchair with a steel structure, padded with moulded polyurethane foam and polyester wadding for greater comfort. It is distinguished by the pleasantly textured leather upholstery and the folded armrests that resemble a shirt collar. Thanks to a process of digital printing on the leather, usually reserved for small luxury leather goods, Felipe Pantone's artwork gives the upholstery a nuanced palette of reds, oranges, yellows, whites and blues reminiscent of the hot and cold temperatures of a heat map. The upholstery is in Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® Impact Less, the innovative leather tanned with sustainable components and without the use of chrome for a reduced environmental impact.To emphasize the chromatic vibe of the surface, the base, characterised by four die-cast aluminium feet and a steel frame, has a multicolour chrome finish: a special iridescent paint treatment in colours and light, which gives a brilliant purplish-blue shade. A brass plaque, in the same finish as the base, bears the artist's signature and the words “ONE OF 110”. In addition, every Archibald Limited Anniversary Edition comes with a specific cleaning kit and an exclusive clutch, made in the same multicoloured leather as the upholstery and containing the certificate of authenticity of the product signed by the artist.
To celebrate this special collaboration, Archibald Limited Anniversary Edition is also available in a miniature size, still upholstered in the same Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® Impact Less leather and made with the same care and attention to detail as the original version.

The circular steel base, in matt black brushed or lacquered finishes, enables the armchair to be swivelled 360°. The padding is in variable density CFC-free polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. The Pillow armchair is available in 3 versions and in the electric and rechargeable battery models it has a very smooth mechanism that makes it possible to individually adjust the backrest and footrest. The control pad is concealed in the pocket of the left armrest. In the manual version the movements are synchronised thanks to a lever inserted between the left armrest and the seat. The structure of the Times Lounge armchair is made from solid ash in a moka or wenge stain. The wood has a visible circular cross section and an oval cross section for the lower connecting beams. The armchair cushion support embraces the wooden structure and is made from Pelle Frau® leather. A supporting technical textile located under the seat acts as a spring. The seat and backrest cushions are padded with polyurethane foam and polyester wadding while the armrests are padded with polyester wadding. The lining of the backrest and armrest cushions is stitched as a single element, the lining of the seat cushion is separate and attached to the rest of the lining. The cushions are secured to the structure using hidden zips and snap buttons. The cushions can also be covered with Pelle Frau® leather or fabric. In both cases the cover can be removed. An additional cover can be purchased separately.
The structure of the Times Lounge pouf is in solid ash and is distinctive for its two circular-section stands at the sides connected by two oval-section bars which echo the design choices of the armchair. It is available with a moka- or wenge-stained finish. A band of Pelle Frau® leather forms the taut surface over which the second padded cover, in polyurethane foam and polyester wadding, is positioned. The upholstery is available in Pelle Frau® leather or fabric. In both cases the upper padded cover can be removed.

Poised midway between a small armchair and a chaise longue, Pablo stands out for its accentuated, comfortable design, resulting in aesthetic and structural solutions with a strong visual impact. The appealing shape is defined by an accentuated depth and a slightly inclined front. The frame is in solid wood in various finishes. Flowing on from the backrest and fastened to the armrests, the seat seams to float, suspended in mid-air. It comprises a double layer of thick leather with light seat padding, barely visible to the eye but capable of ensuring great comfort. Apparently simple, Pablo reveals a meticulous attention to detail. The result is especially noticeable in the proportions, which are calibrated to the millimetre, in the constant counterpoint of straight and curved lines, and in the frame’s vertical elements softened by a curved section.

Designed in 1969, right from the onset the Up series has been one of the most outstanding expressions of design with its expressive shapes upholstered with elastic fabric. This innovative solution, poised midway between design and art, and conceived to be offered to a wide audience, stems from B&B Italia’s extensive technological know-how in terms of polyurethane injection moulding. Particularly noteworthy among the armchairs is the iconic UP5_6, with its unmistakeable anthropomorphic references: a metaphor of a large womb, it calls to mind ancient statues of the goddesses of fertility. But that’s not all: a spherical ottoman tied to the armchair contrasts the image of comfort and convenience with a more figurative one of a woman with a ball and chain tied to her foot. Gaetano Pesce described the project as follows: “At that time, I was seeking to tell a personal story about my concept of women: I believe that women have always unwittingly been their own jailer. This is why I decided to give this armchair the shape of a woman with a ball and chain, reflecting the traditional image of a prisoner”. This armchair also comes in a junior version for kids aged 3 and up – a perfectly faithful replica of the original design, only smaller. The series also includes the UP7 “foot”, a large sculptural object in painted polyurethane that poses as an archaeological relic of the modern era.

I came across to LineaSelect by mistake and one day I sent them an email to see if they can help me with Devon&Devon bathroom items.

I had a disappointing experience with Lineaselect at first. After confirming and paying for a binding offer that included a fixed delivery timeframe, I was informed six days later that the manufacturer was currently unable to deliver the product. I was offered to either cancel the order or wait for a new, undefined lead time.
While communication remained polite, the handling of the situation initially felt unprofessional. Accepting payment and confirming delivery, only to withdraw the offer days later, raised concerns about reliability.
Update:
After this rocky start, Lineaselect made every effort to arrange delivery as quickly as possible. In the end, I have to say it turned out to be a positive overall experience. The team was responsive and tried hard to find a good solution.
